Shohei Ohtani has stolen 51 bases and hit 50 home runs in a season where he is rehabbing from elbow surgery.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star has achieved the never-before-seen 50-50 season, 50 home runs and 50 steals in the same season.

He hit two homers and stole two bases against the Miami Marlins in a five-hit, seven-RBI game.

His 50 homers breaks Shawn Green's 2001 record for the most in Dodgers history.

Ohtani reached the half-century mark in steals early in the first inning, stealing third after opening the game with a double.

Before the season started, Ronald Acuna Jr. was the favorite with 20/1 odds to become the first 50-50 player in MLB history, which equated to about an 8% chance.

SportsBetting.ag started offering Ohtahi 50-50 Club odds back on August 19. That day, he was around 2/1 odds to achieve the feat.

Nine days later (August 28), the odds had worsened slighted (5/2 or +250).

By September 3, these were his odds of hitting the coveted milestone:

His odds then shot to -225.
