CFP, Heisman Odds Updates After Week 7 2024

Week 7 of the college football season is in the rearview mirror and there have been some interesting future line movements at BetOnline.ag.

With Ohio State falling in Eugene, Texas is the new favorite to win the College Football Playoff.

Here are some notes on the odds changes after Week 7

CFP 

  • Texas has overtaken Ohio State as the favorite. 

  • Despite Oregon beating Ohio State, the Buckeyes still have better odds to win the title 

  • Some teams whose odds shortened 

  • Clemson from 28/1 to 14/1. 

  • LSU from 66/1 to 33/1. 

  • Iowa State from 125/1 to 75/1. 

  • Arizona State from 1000/1 to 300/1. 

  • Some other teams whose odds are longer now 

  • Utah from 80/1 to 300/1. 

  • Oklahoma from 150/1 to 300/1. 

  • Colorado from 200/1 to 500/1. 

  • 12 additional teams are now off the board. 

 

Heisman 

  • Ashton Jeanty is still the favorite. 

  • Dillon Gabriel moved from tied to fifth to second and from 14/1 to 3/1. 

  • Travis Hunter went from second to fifth (3/1 to 12/1), mostly due to injury concerns. 

  • Avery Johnson is back on the board. 

  • Military men Blake Horvath and Bryson Daily are now on the board! 

  • Arch Manning, Brady Cook, KJ Jefferson, Luther Burden III, Nico Imaleava, Noah Fifita, and Tetairoa McMillan are now off the board.
