Bitcoin hit an all-time high on Tuesday.

Donald Trump potentially winning the election come Tuesday November 5 could be prompting the surge, and here is why...

The former president has embraced Bitcoin.

Trump is ahead in prediction markets, while polls show a neck-and-neck race against Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris.

The token is continuing to “price in a Donald Trump election victory,” Tony Sycamore, a market analyst at IG Australia Pty, wrote in a note.

The digital asset climbed to as high as $73,564 on Tuesday in New York before churning below $73,000 in early Asian hours on Wednesday.

Of course, crypto enthusiasts are excited about the possibility of a decentralized future if Donald Trump is in office the next four years.

Kamala Harris...not so much.

The current VP and Democratic candidate for president has yet to take an official position on cryptocurrency during her brief campaign as the Democratic nominee, reflecting the broader uncertainty within her party.

BetOnline.ag put out Bitcoin price prediction props bets based on the election outcome. To no one's surprise, the prices are vastly different.

Bitcoin odds are subject to change and will be updated in real-time.
