Fight Analysis By Daniel Saenz of BetUS

Now, let’s be real here – Tyson is no spring chicken. The former “Baddest Man on the Planet” last laced up the gloves professionally way back in 2005, and he’ll be a ripe 58-year-old just three weeks before stepping into the ring with the brash and fearless Paul.

But don’t let that fool you – Iron Mike is still an absolute force to be reckoned with. His exhibition bout against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 proved that the fire still burns bright within this iconic warrior.

On the other side of the ring is 27-year-old Jake Paul, the upstart YouTube star-turned-boxer who’s been making waves in the pugilistic world. With a respectable 9-1 professional record, including a recent victory over Ryan Bourland in March, Paul has shown that he’s not just a flash in the pan.

That 31-year age gap will be the biggest in the history of professional boxing, eclipsing the 24-year gap between Archie Moore (49) and Mike DiBiase (25) when they met in 1963. Moore defeated DiBiase by third-round TKO, but he also was quite active, fighting four times as a 48-year-old before calling it a career at 49.
