Apparently coming off of an Achilles tear and playing quarterback at age 36 and 40 isn’t the easiest thing to do.

Who could have guessed that!

We have seen Aaron Rodgers struggle for the majority of the season and after a decent start, Kirk Cousins has been abominable.

Cousins has a career high 16 interceptions and only 18 touchdowns in 14 games including only one in the last five games. He had 18 touchdowns last year in only eight games before tearing his Achilles. Ironically, Cousins does have eight touchdowns in two games against the first place Buccaneers.

But I digress.

It shocked a lot of pundits and fans when the Falcons took UW quarterback, Michael Penix, with the eighth overall pick in the draft after such a huge financial commitment to Kirk Cousins.

On Tuesday, Falcons coach Raheem Morris announced that the Falcons were moving forward with Michael Penix as their quarterback for the rest of the season.

I can promise after being benched, Cousins isn’t saying “you like that!”.

So what’s next for Kirk Cousins? Does he get his job back next year? Does he back up Penix? Does he get cut? Does he get traded?

All those options are on the table and the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened lines for what team Cousins will start game one for next season if not the Falcons.

Which team will Kirk Cousin Start Week 1 of 2025 season for (if not the Falcons)?
