NCAA Tournament Odds Tennessee vs. Ohio State

NCAA Tournament odds have been posted for Tennessee vs. Ohio State.  This game goes off Friday, 7:05 pm Eastern - CBS. Ohio State is a 4.5 point favorite with a total of 134 at SBG Global.

The Midwest Region of the 2010 NCAA Tournament was supposed to be all about top-ranked Kansas.  That is not the case anymore as the Jayhawks are out so now it sets up for #2 seed Ohio State. The Buckeyes will have to get past Tennessee on Friday in Sweet Sixteen action.  The Volunteers know how to win big games as they beat Kansas and Kentucky earlier this college basketball betting season.

The Buckeyes have the best player in this game and one of the best in the nation in Evan Turner.  He does everything well and is the reason the Buckeyes should advance.  Ohio State relies heavily on their starters so they must stay out of foul trouble.  William Buford, Jon Diebler and David Lighty average between 12.8 and 14.4 points per game and each has scored at least 16 points in a tournament game. Lighty is the most experienced starter but he missed 26 games last college basketball betting season after breaking his left foot. "Everybody forgets Dave Lighty didn't play last year," Ohio State head coach Thad Matta said. "Getting him into the fold was such a key."

Tennessee has some players who can impact a game including Scotty Hopson, J.P. Prince and Wayne Chism.   Prince has led the team in the tournament with 16.5 points per game. He is shooting 66.7 percent from the field. "His shooting percentage is good because he gets a lot of stuff around the basket,'' head coach Bruce Pearl said, "He doesn't take many 3s, but he's made just enough in big situations you don't go, 'Oh!' every time he shoots it. ... He makes good decisions.''

The Volunteers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Volunteers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 NCAA Tournament games. The Buckeyes are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games.

The Under is 6-1-1 in the Volunteers last 8 neutral site games. The Under is 8-3 in the Volunteers last 11 non-conference games. The Under is 21-8-1 in the Volunteers last 30 overall. The Over is 6-1 in the Buckeyes last 7 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
