Casino Affiliate Programs: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Casino Affiliate Programs

The saga that is the online casino affiliate programs sector continues.

Virtue Fusion has lost another client / brand, Buckingham Bingo, who have elected to do their own affiliate program.

Another affiliate program that has caught out attention over the years (for brand shuffling and loosing a big name Australian brand) is Share Results aka Income Access.  Approximately two years ago they lost casino, gaming and leisure powerhouse, Lasseters.  Readers may recall last month an indigenous Australian, Bess Price, named Lasseters as racist, while they named her drunk.

For the record some of the affiliate programs that impress us the most are PartyGaming's PartyPartners, Virgin's Virgin Affiliates, Rewards Affiliates (Captain Cooks Casino etc), BetUS Partners, PokerStars.com Partners and DGM (who sport Betfair, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Broadband, Bigpond, Apple and others).  I'm also pleased to report that PKR have been back in our good books for many months, after having a couple of not good weeks 6 months back.

Webmasters may find it beneficial to have a few other affiliate programs running, other than just pure igaming and online poker affiliates.  We enjoy the UFC Shop affiliate (via Commission Junction), Ring Divas (wrestling babes), Penthouse Partners and Playboy.  UFC has a tie in with sports betting, and the world knows that "babes" and beautiful woman remain some of the most popular sectors on the web around the world (unless you are censored in China or the like).

Just yesterday affiliate program participation was been pushed at the iGaming Business Down Under conference at Star City Casino, Sydney, Australia. What I found interesting other that all the legal chat going on was that I saw a stand for GPWA (but none for CAP or their in house publication).  GPWA lists many (up to 100 affiliate programs) in their directory, however as I have previously gone on record with, Media Man only participates in less than a dozen of igaming and gaming affiliate programs as we believe many are a complete waste of time, and some are predatory in nature, while others are just rotten, rip offs and worse.

The worst affiliate program and igaming operation we ever came across was named "Lucky Ace Partners", who we understand changed their name last year to Platinum or something.

We're already green lighted a couple of programs we found to be good ones earlier, as to help keep some balance and a sub sector of the industry with a very mixed reputation.

Media Man and Gambling911 wish that your affiliate experiences all be good ones (even if that odds are against it), and punters, good fortunes on the racing, tables and slots et al, and keep it fun.
