No. 3 Iowa State visits Arizona after Curtis Jones scored 33 points in Iowa State's 76-61 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Jones led all scorers with 33 points while accumulating seven boards. It's his fourth straight game with at least six rebounds.

Joshua Jefferson was also impactful for the Cyclones, getting his sixth double-double of the season and scoring 13 points.  He also had 10 rebounds and four steals – a game-high.

The Cyclones are 8-1 against conference opponents. Iowa State ranks ninth in college basketball scoring 40.9 points per game in the paint led by Keshon Gilbert averaging 8.7.

The Wildcats have gone 9-1 at home. Arizona leads the Big 12 with 14.4 fast break points.

Following a lackluster start to this season, the Wildcats have more recently won nine of their last ten games and are one game behind Houston at the top of the Big 12 standings.

Caleb Love is averaging 15.3 points and 1.5 steals for the Wildcats. Jaden Bradley is averaging 10.9 points over the last 10 games.

Arizona's average of 6.9 made 3-pointers per game this season is just 0.7 fewer made shots on average than the 7.6 per game Iowa State gives up. Iowa State has shot at a 49.5% clip from the field this season, 9.4 percentage points higher than the 40.1% shooting opponents of Arizona have averaged.

From The Action Network:

It's not just the home-court advantage that gives the Cats the edge, though — it's also the matchup advantages.

First, Iowa State does a great job of scoring off of offensive rebounds (34th in Haslametrics in converting second-chance opportunities), but Arizona does a great job of limiting those chances (22nd in Haslametrics in preventing second-chance opportunities).

Secondly, Iowa State capitalizes off turnovers, turning those giveaways into easy points. However, the Wildcats aren't flimsy with the basketball (11.3 giveaways per game).
