National Anthem Time Prop Bet for Super Bowl 2025 - Jon Batiste
Jon Batiste, a New Orleans native, Grammy-winning musician and television personality, will usher in festivities with The National Anthem.
The Over/Under on the National Anthem time sung was listed at 125 seconds.
One of the more difficult props to handicap, which has forcedly become a science in recent years because so many people are wagering on it, handle on the National Anthem reached the six-figure mark in Super Bowl LVIII.
"The National Anthem prop is more of a thorn in our side than anything, but it does generate a good handle," BetOnline Sportsbook Manager Adam Burns said. "One year we graded both sides as winners because the final word, brave, was said multiple times. Another year you had bettors on a rooftop recording the length of practice sessions and posting video on social, so this is always a prop we have to closely monitor."
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Friday, Jan. 24, Batiste, 38, shared how he's preparing to belt out America's National Anthem at the big game.
"I'm excited to figure out an arrangement that lasts the test of time, and I look forward to sharing it," he said.
The Grammy winner added that he'll finalize his arrangement "the week before" Super Bowl LIX. "And then it's going to fly," he said.
