The map below courtesy of BetOnline.ag is based on geotagged X data in the last week (when the matchup was set to now), tracking tweets, hashtags, and direct keyword phrases about who NFL fans are betting on for Super Bowl LIX in each state. For example, "I'm betting on the Chiefs," "bet on the Chiefs," "bet on Mahomes," "I'm betting on the Eagles," "bet on the Eagles," "bet on Hurts," "bet on Saquon," etc. Over 130,000 tweets were tracked.

As you can see from the map, the country is divided. The middle of the country seems to be betting on the Chiefs, however when you move towards the coasts, you see a lot more people interested in putting their money on the Eagles.

Now, it's very important to note, this is not a rooting interest map. The majority of NFL fans are likely rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles... however when it comes to actually putting money down, a lot of them know it's tough to bet against Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City, especially when it seems like the stars are aligning for the first ever "three-peat" in Super Bowl wins. There are likely a lot of fans thinking, “I’m rooting for the Eagles…but if I'm putting money on the game, I’m afraid to bet against the human version of Michael Myers.”
