In all my years covering professional basketball, I can't recall an NBA trade deadline that will impact the future of the league more than this one.

We saw a generational player head-scratchingly dealt to the Association's "Evil Empire." We saw another blockbuster trade with a pair of perennial All-Stars go down the next day.

And, now, the name that has commanded the most headlines during the first half of the 2024-25 season got his way as Jimmy Butler is headed to the Golden State (Warriors).

BetOnline.ag quickly adjusted its NBA Championship odds following the five-team trade that occurred this evening.
