3 Underdogs That Can Be Named Super Bowl 2025 MVP

1. Travis Kelce (+1600)

There are times when the Kansas City Chiefs seem interchangeable with Xavier Worthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Hollywood Brown and DeAndre Hopkins all fighting for targets.

That is not the case at the tight end position.

Kelce was targeted 10 times in Super Bowl LVIII when he had nine catches for 93 yards. He caught all six of his targets for 81 yards when the Chiefs topped the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII following the 2022 season.

Some only think of Kelce as the guy dating Taylor Swift. It might be time to remind them that Kelce has caught more passes in the playoffs than anybody in NFL history.

Kelce had a career-low 823 receiving yards during the regular season. When things get tight, Mahomes’ first read when he drops back to pass is usually his veteran tight end.

Since arriving in Philadelphia, the Eagles are 14-3 when Brown has at least 100 receiving yards. He flirted with a 100-yard game with 96 yards the last time the Eagles played the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs ranked 18th in passing yards allowed per game during the regular season. There could be opportunities for Brown to make the kind of plays that could earn him a chance to come through at +2800 odds to win Super Bowl MVP.
