Shortly after the Seahawks announced they are cutting steady veteran Tyler Lockett, DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf otherwise known as DK, asked to be traded.
This seems to be more about getting a new contract with one year left on his current deal than leaving Seattle.
Metcalf already signed a 3-year $72 million extension in 2022 and has watched many receivers pass those financial numbers as he is now the 13th highest paid receiver.
That will change again once Ja’Marr Chase signs.
The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened lines for which team may trade for Metcalf’s services and the Packers are the leaders in the clubhouse.
