Maybe it’s recency bias, but it seems like more NFL players than I can remember are asking to be traded in the offseason.
Myles Garrett, DK Metcalf and now Trey Hendrickson.
Add that to the many players that NFL teams have told they can seek a trade (Deebo Samuel, Cooper Kupp, Jaire Alexander and more), and it feels a bit like the NBA.
Sometimes Hendrickson gets lost in the shuffle of Myles Garrett, TJ Watt, Micah Parson, and even Maxx Crosby, but make no mistake about it, Hendrickson is unbelievable.
He came in second for the 2024 DPOY award and had 17.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons. Additionally, he’s very durable the last five seasons.
