Contrary to what you may see on search engines, there are currently no sports betting apps available from the great state of California. There are, however, browser-based websites that can be accessed and bets placed online. PrizePick is now the market leader in Daily Fantasy Sports Betting. Well, they say it's not sports betting but the model clearly mimics player prop parlay wagering.
In Google Play, PrizePicks even stresses how the app can be downloaded in California.
It's called a "loophole" and some states are taking notice. Florida forced PrizePicks to stop offering some of its contests.
