All-American Johni Broome scored 14 points and had 11 rebounds in an easy win against Alabama State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
That 14 points fell short of the average 19.5 points sportsbooks have posted of late for his over/under total scoring. BetUS has him with an over/under of 19.5 for this one.
Rotowire wrote of Broome's final regular season game before the madness begins:
"Broome dominated the paint against Ole Miss, pulling down 15 rebounds, his most since Jan. 29 against LSU. He also got to the free throw line plenty, and his big day was crucial in what wasn't exactly an easy win for the Tigers in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals. Next up, Tennessee awaits in the semis."
