The Dodgers recently took their first loss of the season, and had to battle in a difficult series against the Phillies, they will be hungry to get back on track against this Washington team. The Dodgers are starting Dustin May, and he was untouchable in his first start. He pitched five innings and gave up just one hit with no earned runs in his first appearance, he will be able to control this Washington lineup. The Nationals are still figuring out how to make their lineup of young prospects work, they have moved James Wood from second in the order to fifth, and do not have a power hitter in the middle of the lineup that generates the respect of all pitchers. MacKenzie Gore gave up three runs to the Blue Jays in his last start, and is now taking on a much more powerful lineup in the Dodgers. Edman has supplied a strong boost to their lineup that is already littered with stars, the Dodgers win big here.
