Make no mistake about it, when it comes to high stakes sports gambling, they don't get much better than Circa Sports.

The only limits associated with Circa is the inability to join in most states.  Their famed sportsbook is open to all when in Vegas but the app is only available in Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Kentucky.  Most of us can't play there unless we come to Las Vegas.

The reality is that Circa still has to impose limits.

A half naked high stakes sports bettor and podcaster, Sean Perry, who claims to regularly bet millions of dollars as often as you and I change our underwear, exposed the beloved sportsbook for what they really are....a responsibly run business.

Perry recently was allowed to bet only $10,000 on a prime time NBA game after attempting to wager $100,000 while dressed as a elf no less.   The costume paid homage to the sports gambling Twitter Spaces broadcasting phenom, Elf.

Jeff Benson of Circa told Sean he should be grateful.  The bet he wanted to place lost.

"You’re welcome for the ~90k in savings from this losing bet and respectfully we have no interest in whatever offer this is. Just show up to the counter (in costume or not) and bet. Save the theatrics for the Elf spaces and the boxing ring."

Most folks weren't questioning Circa's business practices (they still offer higher limits than pretty much anyone else), but rather why Perry appeared without his shirt on in this video.

Now to be clear, there is a big difference between Circa Sports limiting a player to $10,000 from $100,000 versus, say, DraftKings limiting a customer to $12 bets.  There's a Reddit for that.
