The Draft Has Arrived

It’s no secret that professional football towers over all sports in terms of popularity, which is why the NFL’s 32-team, 12-month news cycle has no offseason. The two biggest storylines of the offseason involve free agency and the draft.

The latter is on display April 24th through the 26th, Green Bay hosting the proceedings. There will be 257 picks over the seven rounds of the draft (including compensatory selections given to teams that lost players via free agency).

As of this writing, about 10 days before the fun, it’s the Tennessee Titans on the clock with the 2025 NFL draft first pick. The second choice belongs to the Cleveland Browns, then the New York Giants at No. 3.

The New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars are at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Every team in the league has (theoretically) done it's due diligence before the draft, poking and probing (via the combine, pro days and interviews) each of the prospects they have under consideration. Of course, audibles are necessary once the draft-day trades occur.

With the draft comes the 2025 NFL draft odds, including which player gets selected at which number, and over-under on where a player is chosen. specific team(s) selecting specific player(s), and which player is the first choice at a certain position.

It’s Cameron Ward, quarterback out of Miami (Fla.), as the prohibitive 1-100 (-10000) choice to “get taken” by the Tennessee Titans, atop the board in the NFL mock draft. Penn St. edge rusher Abdul Carter is currently at 14-1 (+1400) to have that honor. Colorado teammates Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders are listed at 30-1 (+3000) and 50-1 (+5000) on that proposition.

Odds are fluids, so it’s the job of the bettor to find the best time to invest.

Here’s a bit of a primer on the 2025 NFL draft…

When and Where Is the 2025 NFL Draft?

If you’re asking, “When is the NFL draft?”, head to Wisconsin in late April. Green Bay (in and around Lambeau Field) is the site of the 2025 NFL draft on April 24th (first round), 25th (the second and third rounds), and 26th (fourth through seventh).

Who Are the Top NFL Draft Prospects in 2025?

With the NFL draft order (as of this writing) listing the Tennessee Titans having the first overall selection, quarterback Cameron Ward of Miami (Fla.) is the prohibitive choice to go to Music City. That’s because the Titans were 3-14 in last season’s NFL standings, the league’s worst record (with the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants).

Penn St. edge rusher Abdul Carter (and tight end teammate Tyler Warren), Boise St. running back Ashton Jeanty, Colorado's mates Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders, and Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham are also atop the board.

Does BetUS Offer Constant Updates on the 2025 NFL Draft Betting Odds?

Indeed, it does. BetUS is offering a plethora of 2025 NFL draft odds, including which player gets selected with which pick and by whom, over-under on a player’s “place” in the draft, odds on specific positions, and, of course, Mr. Irrelevant (draft’s final choice).

Any Final Thoughts?

As with any sports game or prop wager, 2025 NFL draft odds are fluid based on a number of factors, starting with trades made before and during the event. Just as teams have done their homework, bettors are encouraged to do the same before any investing.
