The FanDuel website crashed shortly after 8 pm ET Friday night.  FanDuel is the largest US regulated sportsbook.

Many customers reported a message appearing asking them to verify they were human, but the website continued to misidentify them as bots.

They encountered this message:

"Access to the website has been denied because we believe you are using automation tools to browse the website".

"Have first 2 guys in a 5 player HR parlay already homer an your shady book is down on the app?? Can’t log in asking if I’m a f’in human?? So have no access to the cash outs? Just a bunch of shady ass thieves! They hard enough to hit an now u curbing us access cause u still sour."

FanDuel acknowledged the situation during the 9 pm ET hour.

"We’re aware users are currently having trouble logging in. Our team is actively engaged and working on resolution. We appreciate your patience and further updates will be provided as soon as possible."

FanDuel resolved the matter within three hours with Gambling911 inquiries dropping dramatically after the 9 pm ET hour.

"We're happy to report that login has been restored. Thank you for your patience while our team worked on a resolution!"

This didn't stop customers from demanding refunds, a few with some choice nicknames for FanDuel, which is not the opinion of Gambling911.com as we commend the company for getting this issue resolved in a rather expedient matter.  Granted, we also understand those customers affected won't necessarily share this opinion.

"So rattled my fd was down last night I had 3 like this solids cashouts and couldn’t log in scamduel!! They should return all bets from yesterday you guys are brutal."

"Yea I lost big money on cashouts because of course the site is working as soon as the cashouts are no longer available."

Gambling911 recorded 4874 impressions for our coverage of the FanDuel glitch during the three hour period.

A number of Major League Baseball games were being played Friday evening with customers unable to place bets.  Early wagers were also being placed on the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. boxing match as well as UFC 317 featuring Ilia Topuria vs Charles Oliveira.
