LAS VEGAS -- Tiger Woods' comeback to golf has not only been good for ratings, but it's also a big hit with Las Vegas sportsbooks. The M Resort's race and sportsbook director says Tiger's return has made betting very exciting.

"It's the busiest golf tournament I've ever seen," said sportsbook director Mike Colbert.

M's sportsbook is seeing a lot of green. Bets during this Masters may have set a new record for them. Colbert says that has a lot to do with Tiger's comeback.

The sportsbook is taking advantage of every put with in-running wagering, which allows for proposition bets or live betting throughout the game. There's a section just for tiger.

"We have 10 different match-ups with Tiger Woods. We have a match-up against top 10 scorers," he said. "Before the tournament, people were betting against Tiger Woods,

but as Tiger quickly adjusted, it was like he never left and people started to place their bets and hopes on him once again."

If for any reason, to get a return on their investment.

"To be honest with you, we did bet on Tiger. We bet him against Phil," said golf fan Patrick Coughlin.

It didn't exactly turn out the way he wanted, but it was a big win for the M sportsbook overall and also for Tiger himself. According to Zeta Interactive, since his return Tiger's image has significantly improved.
