The Seattle Mariners are among the hottest teams right now despite losing their last two games to Baltimore.  They are winning 80% of their games. The Mariners head to the New York Mets starting Friday.  New York has just one win in their last ten overall.  Seattle has won four of the last five of this series dating back to 2023.  Bet this series at BetUS and claim your welcome bonus up to 125 percent your initial deposit

The New York Mets host the Seattle Mariners to start a three-game series.

New York has a 39-23 record at home and a 64-57 record overall. The Mets have a 45-9 record in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Seattle has a 30-30 record on the road and a 67-55 record overall. The Mariners have a 26-16 record in games decided by one run.

Friday's game is the first meeting between these teams this season.

TOP PERFORMERS: Juan Soto has 16 doubles and 29 home runs for the Mets. Pete Alonso is 15 for 41 with three doubles, four home runs and 13 RBI over the past 10 games.

Cal Raleigh leads the Mariners with 61 extra base hits (16 doubles and 45 home runs). Julio Rodriguez is 14 for 39 with a triple, five home runs and 10 RBI over the last 10 games.

Friday's Game

The Mets come in with a line of -117.  The number came in steady with balanced action.

From ESPN

Splits facing left-handed pitching are precarious, especially in a sample of just over a week. For the season, the Seattle Mariners sport an average lineup facing left-handers, but since the trade deadline, they have one of the worst offenses against southpaws, even after acquiring Eugenio Suarez and Josh Naylor. This is one of the reasons that Sean Manaea lands so high on Friday's starting pitcher rankings. The New York Mets lefty stumbled in his past two starts, but since debuting in mid-July, Manaea recorded 30 strikeouts with only six walks over 27 frames. His 3.37 xFIP indicates that there is some small sample noise in his 4.33 ERA.
