US President Donald Trump put rumors to rest regarding any "health emergency"....or worse...after he was photographed playing golf at one of his Virginia courses.
That hasn't stopped folks from speculating about his health....and gamblers are taking notice.
On Tuesday morning, searches for Trump's health odds had dramatically increased. Scroll down for all the top gambling news headlines.
How it All Began
With most of us away or partaking in holiday gluttony over this extended three-day Labor Day weekend, you'd be forgiven for not having heard the unfounded rumors that went as far as to suggest Trump might not even still be alive. He is.
Several reporters claimed that the president had been oddly out of the public eye for most of the week, seemingly failing to mention the holiday weekend.
“Trump has not been seen publicly since his cabinet meeting on Tuesday,” Public Notice’s Aaron Rupar wrote on X while resharing a post from journalist Laura Rozen. Rozen posted on Friday: “Trump has no public events scheduled all weekend. Don’t believe he was seen today either.”“Donald Trump hasn’t been seen in public since Tuesday and has no events scheduled all weekend,” the Republicans against Trump account wrote on X. “Where is he? Who’s running the country?”
Toss in the fact that Vice President JD Vance recently said in an interview with USA Today that he was ready to step in for Trump if something happened, and the conspiracy theories were all over the place over on Elon Musk’s platform. Vance's odds of becoming the next US President have skyrocketed in recent weeks at sites like BetOnline.
Trump would later appear at one of his golf courses, which seemed to quell rumors somewhat. He also posted on Truth Social.
“NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,” in response to another user's message about former president Joe Biden’s health. In the same post, he also claimed, “DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE.”
Headlines like these appearing on the widely read Drudge Report - "Trump's attempt to dismiss health concerns seriously backfires as new theories grow" - helped keep these rumors alive, at least pertaining to a possible health episode in recent days. Throw in the thrown out mysterious brown bag from a White House window. Video footage of this exists without an explanation as of yet.
Tabloid press, mostly outside the US, reported on a doctor supposedly issuing a chilling amputation warning that Trump's leg may need to be cut off.
Then there was this from journalist and investor Adam Cochran posting his own theories about what’s going on with the President’s health, alleging that Trump may be suffering from “TIA strokes”.
