A beloved Vegas gambler has passed away after a bout with cancer.
David Sharapan, a sports betting analyst and oddsmaker, also known as Sportsbook Consigliere died on Sunday.
His family posted the news via his own X feed.

The girls and I never thought we would be writing the final story time from the book! Our hearts are broken and this is the hardest story we will ever have to tell.
My husband, our dad, our best friend, Dave, passed away last night. Dave was more than someone behind the counter. He was a constant, a voice you trusted, the guy who knew the line before the books did, the one sharing stories from the book, the guy who could make you laugh even when the game was a bad beat. But to us, he was our everything.
At home, Dave was not only talking point spreads and lines, he was teaching us about life. About loyalty, about standing tall in tough moments, about showing up with integrity no matter the odds. He filled our days with humor, love, and endless lessons, the kind you only learn from someone who truly lived life with his whole heart.
Our chapter with him here ended too soon, but the book of his life is overflowing with memories, laughter, and love. Those pages are written forever, and we’ll carry them with us every single day.
To family, friends, colleagues, and the BvB Brigade — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving him alongside us. He was proud of every story he told and every connection he made with all of you. We promise to do our best to keep those connections alive, because they meant so much to him, and now they mean even more to us.
Rest easy, to The Consig, The Book, and our hero! You will always be our story, and your love will be the line we never lose.
