Clemson Next Head Coach Odds

It's unlikely that Dabo Swinney is ousted from his position has Clemson's head coach before next season, but if it does happen the odds suggest there's an obvious favorite to replace him.

Monday morning, BetOnline.ag posted odds for Clemson's next head coach (change must occur before 2026 season), and Brent Venables is an overwhelming favorite. 

Venables spent 10 seasons at Clemson under Swinney, serving as the Tigers' defensive coordinator for two national titles and coaching guys like Grady Jarrett and Dexter Lawrence.

Of course, it could be difficult to pry Venables away from Oklahoma. There are 32 names on the list below, highlighted by guys like Deion Sanders, Jimbo Fisher and Lane Kiffin.

The sportsbook has also updated its next coach fired board, and Swinney appears on it for the first time since the preseason when all Power 4 head coaches were listed.

Swinney had 150/1 odds to be fired this season, which were the longest odds on the board and the same as guys like Kirby Smart, Ryan Day and Steve Sarkisian.
