The Washington State Cougars vs. Baylor Bears betting odds
The Washington State Cougars vs. Baylor Bears betting odds were drawing throngs of gamblers on Saturday. This game was initially slated to be played on Saturday but is now taking place at 8:30 pm Friday night.
A whopping 90 percent of the betting public was all over Baylor at -3 ½ after opening this one at -1 ½. Obviously, an attempt to get action on Washington State. If you happen to live in Canada or anywhere else outside the US - Sportingbet.com had Baylor as a PICK last time we checked. They won't be offering that one for long so better jump on that bet fast.
Otherwise, US facing sports book BetUS.com was offering Baylor at -3 ½ along with just about everyone else.
The line on this game should actually favor Washington State by 2 ½ points.
The Seattle Intelligencer points out just what's wrong with Washington State:
A WSU team lacking in talent, experience and depth figures to face considerable adversity on a regular basis this fall. Friday, the Cougars must deal with a last-minute change in travel plans and the date and time of the game, and the forecast calls for hot, muggy weather -- but no heavy rain and winds, as had been feared for Saturday.
The Cougars have kept their starting quarterback a secret, but WSU has far more problems than quarterback play. Coming off a 66-3 loss to California, a shaky defense now faces a speedy, athletic quarterback in Baylor freshman Robert Griffin.
Nevertheless, the line is still way out of whack here and Gambling911.com believes that WSU should be able to win here. The chances are better than 60 percent in our opinion.
