We heard a lot of chatter about Miami's "moral victory" after a hard-fought loss to the Bills a week ago.

Mike McDaniel wasn't having any of that talk, and Tua Tagovailoa wasn't either.

But was the gritty game enough to save McDaniel's job for another few weeks? Owner Stephen Ross came out and said he likes McDaniel a lot and has no imminent plans to change head coaches.

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have reacted to all of the above. While McDaniel remains the favorite to be fired first this season, his very short -700 odds from last week are long gone.

Brian Callahan, who's won just three of 20 games since taking over in Tennessee last year, has seen his odds shorten significantly. Callahan was 10/1 last week, and is now 3/2 (+150).

Brian Daboll was +700 last week and has had his odds cut in half after making a quarterback change.

Below is the full list of firing odds.

Who will be the first NFL coach fired?

Mike McDaniel (MIA) -150

Brian Callahan (TEN) +150

Brian Daboll (NYG) +300

Raheem Morris (ATL) +900

Dave Canales (CAR) +2000

DeMeco Ryans (HOU) +2000

Kevin Stefanski (CLE) +2000

Brian Schottenheimer (DAL) +2500

Jonathan Gannon (ARI) +4000

Kellen Moore (NO) +5000

Zac Taylor (CIN) +5000

Mike Vrabel (NE) +10000
