According to at least one bookmaker, Donald Trump will lose out on his bid for third TIME Person of the Year honor to...a robot.

Well, not one specific robot, but artificial intelligence, in general.

BetOnline.ag has been offering odds for the annual TIME Person of the Year since early 2025, and the award will be announced Friday.

President Trump has been the favorite at times over the past few months, but AI has surged to the lead in the latest numbers.

Trump won this award last year and in 2016.

Pope Leo XIV has seen his odds go from 20/1 to 5/1, currently. A trio of pontiffs have taken home the honor, the latest being Pope Francis in 2013.
