The map below, courtesy of BetOnline.ag, is based on geotagged X data in the last week (seven days) tracking tweets, hashtags and direct keyword phrases about which team will win the Super Bowl this year. All odds to win the 2026 Super Bowl can be found here
For example, "The Colts will win the Super Bowl," "I think the Bills will win the Super Bowl," "the Broncos are looking like a Super Bowl contender," "The Chiefs will still win the Super Bowl," "I'm betting on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl," etc., as well as team mentions that also include hashtags like #SuperBowl60, #SuperBowlLX, #SuperBowlBound, #SuperBowl, etc. Over 120,000 tweets were tracked.
As you can see from the map, the field is still wide open, but there are definitely some surprises that wouldn't have been there at the start of the season. That's definitely the case for the Colts, Patriots, Seahawks and Broncos...although Denver has been on the upswing in recent seasons, so it's not too surprising the Mountain Region is going with them.

The biggest surprise seems to be the Indianapolis Colts, which seemingly came out of nowhere, and while there are still some questions as to whether they are "pretenders" or "contenders," they just added Sauce Gardner to bolster their defense so it seems like the organization is doubling down.
Chiefs fan resolve remains consistent, even with a rough start to the season... and it's hard to argue considering Patrick Mahomes has made it to the AFC Championship game in EVERY season since he's been a starter.
But outside of the "homer" regions (states where the teams are highly unlikely to reach the Super Bowl), it seems NFL fans are still picking the Buffalo Bills to raise the Lombardi Trophy this year.
Here's the breakdown:
Bills - 12 states (Alaska, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, NY, NC, ND, SC, SD, Texas, Virginia)
