Saquon Barkley rushing yards total prop bet was coming in with an over/under of 79.5.
Barkley had ten rushes for 22 yards in the Eagles’ Week 12 loss against the Eagles, adding seven catches for 52 yards.
From NBC Edge:
Barkley saw an unusually big role in the team’s passing offense. He had never had more than four receptions in a game during his time with the Eagles, and hadn’t seen more than five targets since he was leading the Giants backfield. Though Barkley’s receptions helped salvage his fantasy day, his lack or explosion and depressed overall rushing production remains a major issue for one of the biggest fantasy disappointments in recent memory. Barkley will be a must-start in Week 12 against a Bears team that gives up the league’s highest rate of rush yards before contact, a key metric for running backs like Barkley who rely on explosive runs.
D’Andre Swift rushed eight times for 15 yards in the Bears’ Week 12 win over the Steelers, adding a 14-yard reception.
He is listed with an over/under of 38.5 for Friday night's game.
Swift also lost a second quarter fumble on a play that frankly probably should have been blown dead on forward progress. It was a rough overall day for the veteran back, who got out-snapped and out-touched by Kyle Monangai. It was also the rookie who scored the Bears’ only rushing touchdown. It has appeared like Monangai might be moving ahead of Swift on the depth chart before, but Pro Football Focus charted this as the first game where the rook actually won the snap battle. Swift has been constantly banged up this season — he is currently listed with a hip issue — but this came slightly out of nowhere. We wouldn’t assume this usage automatically carries over to Week 13 against the Eagles, but it has made Swift a shakier option on the RB2/3 borderline, especially with all 32 teams active for Thanksgiving week.
