Tim Tebow Denver Broncos

Everyone was wondering where Tim Tebow would end up.  Now we have the surprise answer: Denver.  The Broncos at press time late Thursday night remained a 33/1 odds long shot to win the AFC Championship.  We here at Gambling911.com see great value here even with a number of superior teams in the AFC simply because a small $10 bet would pay out $330.  These odds were available at Sportsbetting.com (and they might not last, so lock them in fast)

The Broncos shocked the NFL by selecting Tebow over Jimmy Clausen with the 25th pick.

The Broncos acquired the 25th selection from the Baltimore Ravens, their fourth trade of the first round. They also selected WR Demaryius Thomas with the 22nd pick.

Denver surrendered the 43rd, 70th, and 119th selections to acquire Tebow.

"You could have made a lot of money if you had bet that he'd go ahead of Jimmy Clausen yesterday," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said.

Sportsbetting.com was offering that bet in fact.

"Only one team has to like you," Tebow said after learning of his selection by Denver. "This time it was a great coach in coach McDaniels. I am so blessed to go there."

Nobody can claim the Broncos are short of quarterbacks.  They have Kyle Orton as a starter, who managed to lead the team over .500 last season, an accomplishment many believed was an overachievement.  Denver also acquired Brady Quinn from Cleveland.
