The United Arab Emirates is the favorite, followed by Russia and Qatar. The U.K. and Israel have the longest odds on the board.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning continued his threats of land strikes against suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers.

Trump has continued to warn that "Maduro's days are numbered".

"They've dumped hundreds of thousands of people into a country that… we didn't want – people from prisons," Trump said during a "60 Minutes" interview last month. "They emptied their prisons into our country. They also, if you take a look, they emptied their mental institutions and their insane asylum into the United States of America because Joe Biden was the worst president in the history of our country."

CNN on Tuesday reported that the Trump administration is quietly drafting plans on how to respond should Maduro be ousted.

They include multiple options for what US action could look like to fill the power vacuum and stabilize the country if Maduro voluntarily leaves as part of a negotiated departure or is forced into leaving after US strikes on targets inside Venezuela or other direct action, the sources said.

Publicly, officials have said that the goal of the military buildup in the Caribbean and the drug boat strikes is to drive down the flow of drugs into the US, but the internal planning is a clear signal of Trump’s consideration of forcing out Maduro, which administration officials have privately acknowledged.
