2026 College Football Playoff Championship

The oddsmakers didn't even wait until the game was over to post a line for the 2026 CFP National Championship.

Nope, the number-crunchers at BetOnline.ag saw all they needed to see of the Peach Bowl pummeling. And let's just say they are even more impressed with this incredible Indiana Hoosiers squad than they were earlier today.

Here's the opening line for the CFP title game:

Miami +8

Indiana -8

Over/Under 45.5

When lookahead lines were released last night for the two potential CFP matchups, Indiana was listed as a 6-point favorite against Miami. Without a doubt this first half of Hoosier dominance pushed that spread to the 8 points we see now.

With two nasty defenses ready to butt heads at Hard Rock Stadium on January 19, we have ourselves a very low game total. Interestingly, last year's over/under was exactly the same (45.5), but every CFP Championship Game total prior to that was higher, and some much higher.

The favorites have covered in six straight CFP title games, following a run of five straight covers by the underdogs.
