Alpine Women's Skiing Slalom

Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) was coming in at 7/12 odds to win gold in the Women's Giant Slalom Run.

She has the most World Cup wins of any alpine skier in history (men or women) and is the only one to have reached the milestone of 100 victories. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, a five-time Overall World Cup champion, a four-time world champion in slalom, and a nine-time winner of the World Cup discipline title in that event.  Shiffrin, at 18 years and 345 days, became the youngest slalom gold medalist in Olympic history in 2014.  Shiffrin is widely considered one of the greatest female alpine skiers in history.

Julia Scheib (AUT) odds came in at 7/4 odds to win the Women's Giant Slalom Run in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Her first individual podium was a 3rd place in the giant slalom in October 2024, in the season-opening race in Sölden, Austria, and a year later she won the race at the same venue. She also obtained a podium in the team parallel giant slalom, a 3rd place in Soldeu, Andorra, at the end of 2023 season

Federica Brignone (ITA) pays 5-1 odds to win gold in this event.

Brignone won the World Cup overall title in 2020, becoming the first Italian female to achieve this feat, and again in 2025, as well as five discipline titles between 2020 and 2025. She has won 37 World Cup races, four Olympic medals and five World Championships medals. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, she won a silver medal in giant slalom and a bronze in combined. At the 2025 World Championships, she won a gold medal in giant slalom and a silver medal in super-G.
