Jeffrey Epstein

Polymarket recently introduced a prediction market asking whether anyone will be jailed over recently released disclosures pertaining to the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.  18 percent believe there will be individuals arrested with over $150,000 in trading volume thus far.

In a tense ABC interview, Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie defended his push for full Epstein file transparency, accusing the current administration of US President Donald Trump of protecting an 'Epstein class' of elites despite signing the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act in November 2025.

The Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi has thus far released over 3 million pages in batches, but Massie and critics highlight excessive redactions.

The feud intensified at a February 13 House hearing where Bondi clashed with lawmakers, amid Massie's primary challenge from a Trump-backed rival and broader GOP tensions over accountability.

The recent releases include more than 300 prominent names, including Reid Hoffman over 2500 times.  Hoffman's name reportedly appears along with mentions of the notorious Epstein Island visits and gifts.   Hoffman is best known as the founder of LinkedIN.

Mentions within the Epstein Files do not mean an individual engaged in criminal activities.

Polymarket Settling of This Market

This market will resolve to “Yes” if, by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, any individual serves any time in a federal, state, or local U.S. jail or prison, and the cause of that incarceration is attributed to information contained in files related to Jeffrey Epstein released by the federal government on or after December 19, 2025. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.”

A qualifying incarceration must be caused by information included in Epstein-related files released on or after December 19, 2025. The cause of incarceration may be established through official charging documents, court rulings, sentencing statements, or through a clear consensus of credible reporting attributing the incarceration to information contained in those released files. Incarceration driven by information that was publicly known before December 19, 2025, or by reasons unrelated to the content of the released Epstein-related files, will not qualify.

The resolution source for this market will be official court records or government statements, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
