Doh!

Talk about one of the most bizarre Know Your Customer (KYC) requests we've ever seen.

A player attempting payout from an offshore sportsbook, Everygame, was asked to provide the following:

  • - A screenshot of your crypto wallet containing your full name, and;
  • - A screenshot of your crypto wallet with the most recent deposit performed in your gaming account. Please ensure that the deposit address for your most recent crypto deposit is visible.

Huh?

"Who are you to ask for someone's wallet information," the poster at Bookie Review asks.

Yes, for sure.

"Wow. that is wild and way over the line. a lot of people use and intermediate wallet and couldn't provide that info even if they wanted to. so you had to provide all this crap?"

Another quipped: "Please send a picture of your asshole. Make sure hairs and taint are visible."

Baus writes: "That would be impossible to comply with for someone who uses a hardware or app wallet. What a stupid book."

The site claims to be licensed in Antigua and has served sports bettors for 42 years.   That makes them older than BetCRIS, which came into being in 1986.  This book would have opened in 1984.
