The map below, courtesy of BetOnline, is based on geotagged X data over the last 30 days, tracking tweets, hashtags and direct keyword phrases about who fans want to win the NBA MVP.

For example, "I want Wemby to win MVP”, "Rooting for WemVP”. Over 1.9 million tweets were tracked.

We were shocked to see the results, but Wemby -- despite having long odds (currently +1000 to win MVP) -- is who 47 of 50 states are rooting for to win MVP.

California wants Luka (who may not even be eligible) to win the award, Colorado wants Nikola Jokic and Oklahoma wants SGA.
