BetOnline is thrilled to announce a new feature for the NBA Playoffs that protects our customers against injuries in their player prop bets...PlayerProtect by BetOnline.
This news comes just days after another regulated sportsbook in the U.S., FanDuel, introduced something similar. BetOnline's does have some additional restrictions, specifically it does not apply to the full game period.
But, unlike the FanDuel offering, BetOnline's PlayerProtect does not involve any fees.
BetOnline's offering works as follows:
1. Applies to NBA player props only.
2. Player must be injured prior to the third quarter (does not return to game and team announces injury).
3. BetOnline will refund the wager if the single bet or same-game parlay is lost due to the injured player (losses with multiple legs not involving injured player will remain a loss).
4. PlayerProtect only covers OVER wagers (UNDER wagers will still be graded as a loss).
5. All winning OVER wagers involving injured player will be graded and paid.
There are ZERO fees associated with this feature. All customers are eligible to receive benefits immediately.
