Despite reaching the Stanley Cup Final the past two seasons, the Edmonton Oilers have fired coach Kris Knoblauch, according to reports Thursday morning. 

The move signals Edmonton's urgency to win a Stanley Cup with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
