Iron Honor and Incredibolt were among the favorites to win this year's Preakness Stakes with payout odds of $90 for every $20 bet and $50 for every $10 bet, respectively
The 2026 Preakness field is a tight one with favorites that included Iron Honor at 9-2 odds, Incredibolt at 5-1 odds and Taj Mahal, also at 5-1 odds.
Iron Honor is a 3-year-old bay colt, trained by Chad Brown, who is the 9-2 favorite for the 2026 Preakness Stakes (151st edition) at Laurel Park, though alternating with other entries.
Chad Brown is the trainer. He's won two Preakness Stakes races with Cloud Computing (2017) and Early Voting (2022).
Jockey Flavien Prat has wins in one Preakness Stakes with Rombauer (2021).
Iron Honor was the winner of the Gotham Stakes but followed that up with a 7th place finish at the Wood Memorial.
Incredibolt is trained by Riley Mott, the son of Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott. The 2026 Kentucky Derby marked one of Riley Mott’s biggest national-stage appearances as a trainer. He finished 9th in that race.
He already proved he can win a graded stakes race around two turns, something not many horses in this year’s field have done.
Prior to the Kentucky Derby race, he won the Virginia Derby (G3).
