Chris Dudley was a longshot to achieve great success in the NBA (decent career but never a champion), and now he's a longshot (again) at the polls as he tries a political comeback.
When Dudley announced his candidacy back in January, oddsmakers installed him as the second favorite (+140) for Oregon’s governor primary tomorrow.
Dudley has slipped immensely since then, falling to third on the board at 18/1. His chances of winning this race and the following midterm election...a massive 250/1.
Perhaps the best betting market below is the first one, pitting Dudley's career free throw percentage against his total primary vote share.
Dudley was a notoriously bad free throw shooter during his career, finishing with a pathetic 45.8% from the charity stripe, but the odds suggest that mark will end up being higher than his vote count!
