Aaron Taylor-Johnson is among the top five contenders to be cast as the next James Bond and would pay out US$600 for every $100 bet if he is
From GQ: "Taylor-Johnson has it all. The actor, no stranger to stunts, has proven himself as an action star across the arc of his career, in the Kick-Ass movies, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla, Tenet, Bullet Train, and 2024's Kraven the Hunter."

Everybody is asking, Who will be the next James Bond?
Callum Turner remains the favorite with a payout potential of just over $200 for every $100 bet.
Jacob Elordi had the next shortest odds at 5/1.
Then there's Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He pays out $600 for every $100 bet to be cast as the next James Bond.
He's been a consistent front runner over the last few weeks as casting has begun.
A number of prediction sites have him in the top 3 picks.
From TheMarySue.com:
No candidate in the race has had a more conspiratorial relationship with the Bond rumor mill than Aaron Taylor-Johnson. For years, he was treated by the internet as a fait accompli, and even now, the only thing standing in his way is the age factor.
At 35, he’s technically on the older end of what Amazon reportedly wants (the studio has leaned toward actors under 30), but he’s been in the conversation so long that ruling him out feels strange.
The man showed his acting chops in Nocturnal Animals and Kraven the Hunter, so if the filmmakers decide they want someone with a little more mileage over shine, he’s still a fitting choice.
GQ offered this:
Taylor-Johnson has it all. The actor, no stranger to stunts, has proven himself as an action star across the arc of his career, in the Kick-Ass movies, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla, Tenet, Bullet Train, and 2024's Kraven the Hunter. On top of this, he has great emotional range, as showcased by his breakthrough role as a young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy.
He has been subject to Bond speculation for years, at the center of tabloid rumors and online fan castings. A report in The Sun last year detailed how he had been “formally offered” the role by ex-producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, but that has yet to turn into an official announcement. The bookies' odds had shifted away from him up until last year, when he was announced as watchmaker Omega's latest global ambassador. Omega has been associated with Bond since the era of Pierce Brosnan, who wore a Seamaster in 1995's GoldenEye. Perhaps it is just a coincidence that the frequent Bond favorite partnered up with Bond's favorite horologists, but maybe it isn't.
