If Spain couldn't do it, the odds are pretty good that Uruguay will have a tough time scoring against Tiny Cape Verde as well.

Cape Verde 40-year-old goalkeeper and new Instagram sensation Vozinha recorded seven saves Monday, holding Spain’s star-studded lineup to a 0-0 draw that probably felt more like a 3-0 win for the tiny island nation that was making its first World Cup appearance ever.

Even more impressive, Spain entered the this year's tournament as the consensus betting favorite to win the World Cup.

Vozinha said he was overcome by emotions thinking about his loved ones who were unable to see his finest performance.  Some good news, his mom has been granted a visa to enter the United States and see her son play against Uruguay Sunday evening.

“I work all my life for this, for this moment, for this dream,” Vozinha said. “A lot of generations in the past (dreamed of) this day but they did not achieve. And now the dream comes true.”

Tiny Cape Verde was barely a blip on anyone's World Cup Guide coming into the match against Spain.   It was after all soccer's version of David and Goliath.  That changes Sunday as the team has a serious shot of advancing should they draw or win against Uruguay.

Can Uruguay do something Spain could not?

Despite their relatively short odds of winning the FIFA World Cup, Uruguay was only able to score one goal against Saudi Arabia, ultimately drawing.

Maxi Araújo got it into the net for Uruguay.  He pays US$450 for every US$100 bet to score an anytime goal against Cape Verde.

The No Goal Scorer odds for Sunday night's game were listed at 8-1.
