Brady Tkachuk was traded to the Florida Panthers yesterday for a huge haul of three first round picks and a second-round pick and he joins his brother Matthew in an effort to bring the Stanley Cup back to Miami.
The more I read about and watch the brothers play, the older I feel. I covered their father Keith in Phoenix when he played for the Coyotes and I was in sports radio out there.
Keith grew up in Boston (a total masshole) and totally understood sports radio. He was great to deal with. It must be amazing to watch his two sons play in the NHL and win a Gold Medal too!

The Florida Panthers went from 11/1 to 7/1 to win the Stanley Cup (which is tied for second with the Colorado Avalanche and behind the Carolina Hurricanes).
Meanwhile, the Ottawa Senators went from 18/1 to 22/1 to win the Cup.
