What Are the Payout Odds for Serena Williams to Win the 2026 Wimbledon?

Serena Williams is returning to the court this season, courtesy of a Wimbledon wildcard exemption.

Many are scratching their heads as the GOAT of women’s tennis hasn’t played a singles match in four years. Is she there to pomp her GLP-1 drug or is she there to legitimately compete?

We shall see, and now the oddsmakers are chiming in on her chances.

BetOnline.ag inserted Williams as a 40/1 darkhorse to take home another Wimbledon title. Those are the 16th-best odds on the board.

“Williams’ true odds to win this tournament are really around 100/1,” BetOnine Sportsbook Manager Adam Burns said. “We can get away with slashing that number around half because we know people are going to blindly back the name and story.”

And now we are learning that Williams will face an opponent less than half her age when she plays 20-year-old Maya Joint of Australia in the first round at Wimbledon.

Joint was born in Michigan, as was Williams, but represents Australia through her father. She is ranked No. 53 and made her Wimbledon debut last year, losing in the first round to Liudmila Samsonova 6-3, 6-2.

If Williams beats Joint on Tuesday, she may face rising Filipino star Alexandra Eala, who is seeded 29th, in the second round. She could meet defending champion Iga Swiatek in the third round.

Swiatek opens against Taylor Townsend of the U.S. on Centre Court on Tuesday.

BetOnline also put up a fun prop based around Williams’ playing weight. Here it is:
