Today's World Cup Matches
Tuesday June 30, 2026 (7:46 am EDT)
Ivory Coast +145 vs. Norway -175 (1 pm EDT)
A tight one here as Norway is just a -175 favorite. Top goalscorer markets include Erling Haaland paying US$220 for every US$100 bet to score the first goal, Alexander Sorloth paying US$600 and Elye Wahi paying US$800 for every US$100 bet to score the first goal. The winner of today's Round of 32 match will earn a meeting with Brazil in the Round of 16, making this one of the more intriguing knockout ties. Ivory Coast had never advanced beyond the World Cup group stage up until this year. Their previous appearances (2006, 2010 and 2014) all ended after three matches. This is Norway's first World Cup appearance since 1998. Their best-ever World Cup finish was reaching the Round of 16 that year. Two of Europe's power houses have been eliminated early - Germany and Netherlands, the latter by another African nation.
France -950. Sweden pays out US$590 for every US$100 bet (5 pm EDT)
As noted above, two of yesterday's big favorites fell. Could France be next? France has made 17 FIFA World Cups and won two. In addition to their two wins, France has reached the World Cup final four times overall. They were the runners-up in 2006 (lost to Italy) and 2022 (lost to Argentina). Historically, Sweden has been very respectable: 1958 World Cup runner-up, third place in 1950 and 1994, but not usually seen as a modern title contender. Top goalscorer markets today include Kylian Mbappe paying US$200 for every US$100 bet to score the first goal and Ousmane Dembele and Michael Olise each paying around US$500 for every US$100 bet to do so.
Mexico -142 vs Ecuador pays out US$146 for every US$100 bet (9 pm EDT)

Top goalscorer markets include Raul Jimenez paying US$500 for every US$100 bet to score the first goal, Santiago Gimenez paying US$550 and Guillermo Martinez paying US$600.

Former NBA players Malik Beasley and Ed Davis have been indicted in the latest round of charges in the government’s sprawling gambling investigation, authorities said Monday. When he was playing for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2024, Beasley agreed to tailor his performance based on prop bets in certain games, according to an indictment unsealed in Brooklyn. U.S. Attorney Joseph Nocella Jr. said Beasley and others “turned professional basketball into a criminal betting operation.” The schemes, he added, “erode the integrity of American sports and victimize the sports-watching public.”
