Troy Jackson New Democrat Favorite to Win Maine According to Oddsmakers

If Graham Platner does in fact drop out of the midterm race for Maine Senator, who will replace him on the Democratic side?

The number-crunchers at BetOnline already have a list of candidates and each's respective odds. There's a heavy favorite in Troy Jackson, but next on the list is actor Patrick Dempsey.

That's right, "McDreamy" from the hit show Grey's Anatomy has the second-best odds to be Maine's Democratic candidate.

Of course, 9/1 odds suggest more of a "darkhorse" than one of the "favorites," but we've seen some crazy upsets in this election cycle.

Maine Democratic Candidate

Troy Jackson 2/5 (-250)

Patrick Dempsey 9/1

Nirav Shah 9/1

Shenna Bellows 10/1

Graham Platner 16/1

Jared Golden 20/1

Jordan Wood 25/1

Janet Mills 33/1

Dan Kleban 33/1

Aaron Frey 33/1

Chellie Pingree 50/1
