BetOnline.ag opened odds for McGregor's next fight, which could/should be his last.
Michael Chandler is the favorite, followed closely by what would be a trilogy bout with Max Holloway.
Though Chandler was previously scheduled to fight McGregor (after the two coached The Ultimate Fighter in 2023), McGregor withdrew from their initial bout with a broken pinky toe. Following McGregor's recent injury, Chandler publicly came to his defense, shutting down conspiracy theories that McGregor knew he was injured beforehand. Chandler has stated he still believes the two will compete against each other at some point, and the oddsmakers seem to concur.
Chandler said he doubts the UFC would allow a severely compromised McGregor just to draw viewers in for what turned out to be a non-fight.
“The UFC is not the type of organization that’s going to have conversations behind closed doors and say, ‘Hey, it’s all good, man. We’re going to get everybody hooked in on this Paramount stream and then you’re going to bounce out one minute in,’” Chandler said. “That’s just not what they do, it’s not how they operate business.”
The GOAT, Khabib Nurmegomedov, has the longest odds on the board at 20/1.
