2026 World Cup Third Place Game Line: England Pays Out $170 With Win Over France

France and England were favored in their respective semifinal matches, but both ended up losing.  Betonline has posted the latest odds and was releasing betting markets for this game

Now, they play for third place, which isn’t much of a consolation prize for either country.

The two teams will play in Miami on Saturday in the third-place game.

World Cup Third Place Game

England+170
France -195

Note: Current line implies a 66.1% probability of France winning the third place game.

Spain’s defensive prowess and swagger were just too much for an attacking trio led by France great Kylian Mbappé, and just enough to get the 2010 champions into another World Cup final.

Mbappé goalscorer betting will be in high demand for this one.

England was surely envisioning going for its first World Cup title since its only one six decades ago after a 55th-minute goal from Anthony Gordon.

But Lionel Messi and his teammates had other ideas, as they have shown over and over again, are never done.

In the 85th minute, with England hanging on for dear life, Messi pushed out a short corner, immediately got the return pass and spotted Enzo Fernández lurking in the middle of the field, 25 yards from the goal. Fernández ripped a curling shot past goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to even the score.
