Mohamed Salah Next Club Saudi Pro League Side Al Ittihad Odds as Besiktas Deal Falls Through

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Mohamed Salah is back on Al Ittihad’s radar following failed Besiktas move.  Salah was among the most volatile markets at the prediction market sites Friday morning.   Any Saudi Club was now the favorite once again to land Salah, but with 5-4 relatively tight odds.

Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad has resumed work on a deal for Mohamed Salah after the Liverpool forward announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season, ESPN reported.

Al Ittihad had offered £150 million ($200 million) for Salah's services rejected by the Premier League club in September 2023. The club is looking for a marquee star to lead the team following Karim Benzema's move to Al Hilal in February.

Besiktas, a Turkish club, had been as much as a -325 favorite just days ago.

Al Qadsiah is seen as the only other Saudi Arabian club with the finances and ambition to rival Al Ittihad's offer.

And despite the Besiktas deal falling through (for now), Any Turkish Club still has short odds of signing Salah at 6-4 odds, technically co-favorites with Any Saudi Club across the board.

An MLS club getting Salah had 4-1 odds while Any Italian Club came in at 8-1 odds.
